Barack Obama was sworn in as the new President of the United States of America today. I watched the inauguration on television. I don't ever remember watching an inauguration of a new president before. When President Bush was was put in 8 years ago, I was on my mission in Japan, so I didn't see any of that. It's a rough time for our country right now as we are in an economic recession. It will be interesting to see what President Obama can do to turn it around. I personally didn't vote for him in the election because most of his major issues I didn't agree with, but on the positive side I think that he and his wife, Michelle seem like good parents.
